Commercial Warranty

DREAMLAND FURNITURE WARRANTY

FOR COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS

IMPORTANT: This warranty only applies to commercial customers. For individual household claims, please contact the store where you purchased your furniture from.

1. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

1.1 Our Money Back Guarantee applies for 14 days from the date the furniture is received by the customer. Once a refund is requested, we will refund the original purchase price; delivery charges and the cost of return to Dreamland are not refunded.

1.2 If an order is cancelled after dispatch, it is still covered by the 14-day Money Back Guarantee. Furniture must be in original, unopened packaging, unused and contain all fixtures. Evidence of use voids the Guarantee.

1.3 If the furniture we supply is faulty, we will arrange a refund or priority replacement at no extra cost, provided goods are in stock.

1.4 If a refund is requested, the same conditions apply as in 1.1.

1.5 If assembly is required, time and costs can be discussed with Dreamland and added to the purchase price.

1.6 If an order that required a deposit is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable.

Furniture Care Guide

Wood is living. It moves with the seasons and shows unique grain, knots and colour. Treat it well and it will serve your business for many years.

1. Routine cleaning

Lightly dust once a week with a soft, dry microfibre or lint free cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the grain.
Dining or meeting tables work hardest: after each use, wipe with warm water on a soft cloth, then dry straight away.

2. Polishing

Polish only when the surface starts to lose its glow. Use a thin coat of high grade, silicone free furniture polish and buff gently.

3. Spills

Water, grease, wine or food can stain if left. Dab, don’t rub, then dry at once. Always use coasters, placemats and heat proof pads under hot dishes.

4. Chemicals to avoid

Never use products containing ammonia, bleach, wax, silicone, abrasives, lemon or vinegar. These can strip or cloud the finish.

5. Placement & environment

Keep furniture out of direct sunlight and at least 50 cm from heaters, fireplaces or airconditioning vents.
Maintain indoor humidity between 35 % and 45 %. Very dry air can cause cracks; high humidity may lead to swelling.

6. Scratch protection

Fit felt pads under décor and equipment.
Lift objects, do not slide them.
Keep pet claws away from table tops.
Place a writing pad or notebook under paper to stop indentations.

7. Vinyl and plastic mats

Chemicals in vinyl or plastic placemats and tablecloths may react with the top coat. Choose cotton or linen instead.

8. Moving your furniture

Disassemble where possible. Lift from the base, never the top or table leaf. Wrap corners and edges before transport.

Following these steps keeps your furniture beautiful and helps protect your warranty.

2. WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2.1 Dreamland furniture pieces are warranted to be free from materials and workmanship defects with normal usage for a period of two years from invoice date. At our discretion, Dreamland will repair or replace furniture and/or its parts covered by this warranty at no additional charge with these exceptions:

  • Normal wear and tear, including marks, dents or scratches.

  • Damage arising from incorrect use, neglect, misuse, act of God or during transportation.

  • Damage arising from lack of maintenance or cleaning, as per supplied instructions included with furniture and/or specified on our website. Please refer to our website for individual care instructions unique to the product or you can request a copy by contacting contact@dreamlandbedding.co.nz

  • Individual differences related to movement, colour and grain of natural timber. These are considered unique to the material and are not faults. Colours and movement will occur over time.

  • Fading or colour change as a result of furniture piece being placed in direct sunlight.

  • Any indirect or consequential loss.

  • Repairs not conducted by Dreamland or pre-approved by Dreamland. Pre-approval to undertake repairs is required to maintain warranty; any un-approved repairs will void warranty.

2.2 If a replacement furniture item is not available at time of claim, a back-order will be placed. On arrival at our premises, the order shall be immediately dispatched. If the furniture item has been discontinued at time of claim, Dreamland will substitute a similar item of equal value. If identical components or furniture are not available at time of claim, Dreamland reserves the right to substitute product of equal quality.

2.3 This warranty applies only to the original purchaser within New Zealand subject to full payment being made on due date as stated in the sales agreement.

3. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

3.1 Delivery: Furniture items must be inspected for damage upon arrival. If signed as received in good condition, then no claim for damage will be valid. If inspection reveals damage, you must inform the carrier and Dreamland immediately.

4. CLAIMS

4.1 Please submit your claim through our online form Here or contact contact@dreamlandbedding.com in the first instance and provide a description and pictures of the fault, along with a picture of the product QC label or batch number (this is generally located either on the back of or underneath the item). If the fault complies with the terms of this warranty, then Dreamland will repair or replace under the terms of this warranty within a reasonable timeframe.

4.2 If the fault is determined not to be a material or manufacturing fault, you will be responsible for transport costs, as well as costs of repair or replacement of the product.
